About the Nobs editorial team

Last reviewed September 14, 2026

We’re a team who loves the game of cribbage and we care about getting the details right. We created this site so anyone could learn cribbage, answer questions about the rules or strategy, and find more ways to play the game. Our team checks the rules, researches all of the answers, and works to make sure all our guides and information pages are clear and useful to anyone of any age or skill level.

Our editorial process

We start with established cribbage references, including the American Cribbage Congress rulebook, Pagat, and Bicycle. Each page goes through multiple drafts and checks for accuracy and clear language before we publish it.

We explain rules in our own words, how we’d explain them to a friend. When we share history, quotes, statistics, or research, we include our references. When the research is our own, we explain how we conducted it.

Although AI tools may help us research, draft, edit, or write code, our team is fully responsible for what we publish.
